We are now taking orders for holiday pies! These are Our own HOMEMADE pies! Apple, cherry, blueberry and pumpkin…you pick your flavor and we’ll whip it up! These are all take and bake pies meaning they will be unbaked and frozen. They will keep in your freezer for 3-6 months. Buy now and bake later! It is that simple. When you are ready to enjoy one of Our delicious pies simply place the frozen pie on a cookie sheet and bake @350 degrees for 1.5 hours. Baking instructions are always included! Who wouldn’t want a homemade pie…especially when we do the work and you still get the credit?! The smell of a delicious homemade pie baking in your oven is priceless and your family will LOVE it! Our season is quickly coming to a close:( The Art of Farming corn maze will take it’s final navigators Saturday and Sunday October 26 & 27. We will also be wrapping up u-pick apples. The barn will be open through Halloween! Make sure you come in for your final donut fix for the season! If you have a party for Halloween, let us make your treats! We are looking for competitors in the 3rd Annual Chili Cookoff Saturday, October 12, 2013! We hope to have 8 teams participate in this year’s event. We are super excited for the Fall 2013 season and it all starts this weekend, September 7th! The fresh crisp taste of a Michigan apple is second to none and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into one! U-pick apples will start this Saturday with yummy Galas ripe for picking. We are also excited for Our fifth corn maze, the “Art of Farming!” It has been a long year without apples and we know that now that school is back in session, apples are a must, donuts and cider, warm apple pie, walking through the orchard and the fresh, brisk air of Fall what makes Michigan weekends on our farm the BEST!!

We are getting a lot of questions about strawberries! We are super excited for them too:) We hope to start around the 15th- 20th. Due to the cooler weather, they are about a week behind. We will continue to update the website and FaceBook with more information with hours and u-pick availability! Don’t forget to sign up for our canning class with the Canning Diva on Friday, June 28th! We will be learning how to make strawberry salsa..YUMMY! Space is limited, so message or call today!
We are busy little bees right now, tis the season! We are set to have the Barn open Friday, May 17th, 2013. We will open with FRESH ASPARAGUS & RHUBARB! The kitchen will be open as well, I know we have been longing for a bite of a hot and fresh donut:) Right now, the Cherries are in full bloom and the apples are just coming into bloom, the orchards look beautiful! Now we have our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates this weekend…they are forecasting frost so prayers are greatly appreciated. We have a new addition to the farm this year as well, this winter We finally got Our PINK JOHN DEERE! We can’t wait to show it off, it sure is purty:) We are also excited to be a part of the new Downtown Market Grand Rapids! We are planning to be there every Tuesday and Thursday, possibly Saturdays as well.
