We are busy little bees right now, tis the season! We are set to have the Barn open Friday, May 17th, 2013. We will open with FRESH ASPARAGUS & RHUBARB! The kitchen will be open as well, I know we have been longing for a bite of a hot and fresh donut:) Right now, the Cherries are in full bloom and the apples are just coming into bloom, the orchards look beautiful! Now we have our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates this weekend…they are forecasting frost so prayers are greatly appreciated. We have a new addition to the farm this year as well, this winter We finally got Our PINK JOHN DEERE! We can’t wait to show it off, it sure is purty:) We are also excited to be a part of the new Downtown Market Grand Rapids! We are planning to be there every Tuesday and Thursday, possibly Saturdays as well. Well it’s that time of year again…Back to school and time for some fun on the farm! This weekend is the season opener for out annual corn maze! We also have plenty of great Michigan apples and other produce already picked and ready to eat! Don’t forget about the kitchen…donuts, pies, turnovers, cookies and lunch on the weekends! The weather looks like it is going to be perfect for you to navigate the corn maze and refresh with a cider slushy!

We have peaches and blueberries ripe and ready! With this heat wave, local fruit is going be here and gone quickly. If you are looking for large quantities of something, please be sure to call ahead so we can put your name on it! Stay cool and hydrated…local fruit is the best snack on these hot summer days! Well that and ice cream…we’ve got that too!
We have sweet cherries and they won’t last long! Due to the poor weather conditions this spring there is limited availability of cherries. We will have them already-picked only. We do still have u-pick strawberries, hopefully through the end of this week. With the recent heat wave there are plenty of berries ready for picking! We have a great selection of other produce available already picked as well. Stop in for fresh fruits and veggies, and grab a treat from the kitchen…homeade strawberry shake, strawberry sundae, donuts, cookies, pies and more!
